A British tourist was stabbed early on Saturday morning in Sant Antoni. According to Diario de Ibiza, the victim was taken by emergency services to the hospital with a stab wound in the right thigh that affected the vastus externus.
Unknown motive in attack on British tourist
The events occurred around six o’clock in the morning. The victim had left his friends at some apartments in Platja d’en Bossa and was walking alone to his accommodation in Sant Antoni. At that moment a man assaulted him, no motive is known at this time. After a struggle, he stabbed him and fled the scene. Several bystanders witnessed the scene and it was one of them who alerted the emergency services.
Health services arrived quickly on the scene. The man had moved about four or five meters from the scene of the attack to take shelter in a doorway where he was found conscious and stable.
