The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

It can be said that this mid-December weekend is already fully Christmas, there are games, facilities for the little ones, visits from Santa Claus, carols and concerts of all kinds everywhere and it is convenient to look at the different programs of the municipalities, which can be consulted here.

The most important activities are, of course, the videomapping on the facade of the Town Hall of Santa Eulàriathe fin different neighborhoods of Vila de Vilathe inauguration of the Municipal Nativity Scene of Sant Antoni on Saturday, the different workshops programmed by Sant Josep or the Living Nativity Saturday in Formentera. And above all, the Christmas concert, but also a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Cos Ciutat d’Eivissa on Sunday at noon, and the big star of the weekend, Carlos Bautewho performs for free on Saturday at the Passeig de ses Fonts in Sant Antoni.

Also noteworthy are several musical meetings, the first one on Friday, with a round table in the Jornades de Cultura Popular del IEE on the state of music in Eivissa; the visit of Alejandra Burgos to several stages of the island; the concert of La Perra Blanco on Saturday at the Cañas n Roll in Sant Josep; the concert ‘Schubertíada’ of Eivissa Clàssica on Sunday at the Pereyra… and, above all, the lyrical concert ainhoa Arteta and Ramón Vargas together for the DANA’, on Sunday again at the Pereyra.

But as human beings don’t live by Christmas alone, there are other offers: Mucho cinema on Thursday and Friday with the different open cycles, humor with Alicia Lobo on Thursday and with ‘Vaya Movie’ on Friday at the Pereyra Theater; the day Tapea-t in the Can Bonet neighborhood of Sant Antoni with tapas and live music in the different bars on Friday; the Pedro Cañestro Theater Season with Vaporustedes on Friday in Sant Joan and Attípico on Sunday in Sant Antoni; the II Fira de Matança on Saturday in Sant Llorenç; the traditional Pacha’s Great Solidarity Christmas Party on Saturday, or the Frita de Matances de Can Bonet on Sunday.
