The La Movida festival, in its summer version, to be held this Saturday on the beach of s’Arenal in Sant Antoni, is the most popular event on this mid-August weekend full of activities in which music plays a special role.

Lovers of classical and early music have an unmissable date with the XXV Ibiza International Music Festivalwith an intense line-up during the whole weekend in Sant Carles.

Other protagonists will be the Cuban singer Yotuel in Las Dalias; the Ibizan Joan Barbéwho celebrates the tenth anniversary of his first solo album, ‘Alter Ego’, at Teatro Ibiza, and the Portuguese Eurovision winner, Salvador Sobralon Saturday at the ‘Nits de Tànit’ of the Consell, at the UIB. In addition, the ‘Children of the 80’s’ on Saturday will be dedicated to Kool & The Gang.

It is also worth looking at the programs of Sant Bartomeu and Cala Lllonga festivalswith activities for all the public during these days.

And it should be noted that the list of markets in Ibiza is completed these days with the opening of ‘Viu l’Artesania’ in the port of Vila until September 24 and the announced reopening on Sunday of the flea market of Sant Joan.
