Music is the big star of the weekend in the Pitiüses. Starting this Thursday, with concerts by Macaco in Las Dalias, Carolina Durante in Venice Bay, saxophonist Dick Oatts and The Dam Jawn in Caló de s’Oli and two choirs from Bayonne, Thursday and Friday in Formentera. In addition to Efecto Pasillo, who will be back on Sunday for the concert postponed from the Festes de Mayo in Santa Eulària, and the AC/DC tribute Black Back Band on Saturday in Puig d’en Valls.
The other great musical event is the Ibiza Swing Fun Festwhich will fill the streets and venues of Vila, Sant Josep and Sant Antoni with music and dance for three days, with concerts by ten bands, including the New Yorkers Professor Cunningham & His Old School.
Between music and solidarity is also the ‘Movie concert’, to be offered by Alfredo Oyagüez and the soprano Raquel Lojendio, on Friday in Formentera and Saturday in Jesús, for the benefit of Apneef.
And solidarity are also the catwalk Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day on Friday at Hï Ibiza and the haircuts by Hairdressers in Solidarityfor the benefit of IFCC, on Sunday at the Peace Park in Vila.
Film lovers have an appointment on Friday at es Caló de s’Oli de Sant Josep, with the preview of the film ‘La corriente’by Jesús Lloveras, filmed in Ibiza, and with the celebration of the Formentera Filmwhich offers three days of screenings and other activities.
In addition there are fiestas in Puig d’en Valls, Santa Eulària and Sant Josepwhich celebrates the traditional festival of Sant Isidre on Sunday. And many more activities in a very complete weekend:
