The Guardia Civil in Formentera has arrested an 80-year-old man of Spanish nationality on suspicion of breaking and entering and violating the right to privacy, according to RÃ dio Illa.
The man is the owner of a house where three young women who work in Formentera live renting. Apparently, the man arrested had repeatedly entered this property without the permission of the tenants when they were not there.
Once inside, the octogenarian was engaged in handling the tenants’ laundry and sniffing their lingerie. The tenants also noticed that some of their clothes were missing.
In addition, the man would lock himself inside the bathroom, without it being possible to ascertain what practices he engaged in.
Hidden camera
The facts may have been reported because the women sensed that a stranger was entering their home when they were out and decided to install a hidden camera.
The arrestee is scheduled to be brought to court today.
