A group of around 40 individuals, comprising animal welfare associations and Can Dog volunteers, gathered at the Town Hall of Santa Eulària in Ibiza to attend a municipal plenary session.
They sought explanations regarding the termination of the animal collection service contract by the company, and expressed their concern about the transfer of dogs to Mallorca. The group criticized the decision of the local government to relocate the animals to the Fundació Natura Parc in Mallorca.
They also highlighted their previous warnings about Can Dog’s failure to meet the necessary criteria and the local council’s disregard of their offers of cooperation.
