Aitana wants to live in Ibiza. She loves the island, where she has spent many good times in recent years, and would love to be able to spend more time there. The performer is even looking for a house so that she can come whenever she wants. This is what she said in an interview with ‘Los40‘ in Argentina, where she has gone for a macro-concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.
“I spend entire summers in Ibiza. I want to live in Ibiza. I’m looking at a house to live there, said the singer who, when in doubt, clarified that she was not joking: “I’m not joking, it’s a place I connect with too much”. Her intention is to fulfill that dream in this 2014 that begins shortly.
The interpreter of ‘AQYNE’ became a regular on the island during her relationship with actor Miguel Bernardeu, son of Ana Duato, with whom she spent summer seasons. When the relationship broke up, the singer did not cut the link with the island, which she continued to visit with her family, friends, and even her dog. This summer she enjoyed the Ibiza nightlife with her last partner, the also actor Sebastiรกn Yatra, with whom she posed in the private Ushuaรฏa.
Pleasure and work on the island
But Aitana has not visited the island only to have fun and relax. Ibiza was also the setting chosen by the artist for the recording of the video clip of the song ‘AYQNE’, with Danna Paola. A video in which the singer plays a girlfriend on the run and which featured the presence of some local actors.
Now, the singer wants to further strengthen ties with this corner of the Mediterranean with which she feels a special connection. In fact, it should be remembered that one of her most popular songs is ‘Formentera’, a song about which she has also been asked, when talking about Ibiza, in Buenos Aires. The artist had no choice but to explain one of the verses of the composition, which talks about the non-existent airport of the island: “There is no airport, it’s a metaphor. I know that Formentera has no airport, the beauty of the song is that you do the impossible to be where that person is”.
