A car has overturned this Tuesday morning in the new Isidor Macabich Avenue in Ibiza after colliding with another vehicle. The car has been upside down as can be seen in the image. The accident took place before 9 am this morning at the intersection of Avenida de Isidor Macabich and Balears street.
It is given the circumstance that the avenue was opened to traffic just a week ago and the traffic lights at the intersections.
The Local Police has found that the vehicle circulating on the carrer de Balears has been the cause of the accident by skipping the yield sign, so it has collided in a lateral frontal way with another vehicle circulating on the avenue. Likewise, the police are investigating the speed at which the vehicle was driving and the speed at which it entered the avenue, skipping the signaling and vertical.
An ambulance has been moved to the scene of the accident, although it has not been necessary to make any transfer because there have been no injuries. The breathalyzer tests were negative in both cases.
