A 58-year-old man in Ibiza was found dead in a wooded area near his home. Initially believed to be a cardiac arrest, it was later determined that he died from ingesting the toxin of a bufo toad. The man consumed the toxin alone, and the cause of death was not natural. The rituals involving bufo toad toxin usually involve inhaling the poison for recreational or therapeutic purposes. The man’s body has been cremated.
