4 people were arrested in Ibiza for robbing a property while armed with a pistol and holding the occupants’ hands

One of those detained in Ibiza has been charged with criminal simulation by impersonating one of the victims

The National Police in Ibiza detained four people of Spanish nationality, aged 22 to 49, as alleged perpetrators of robbery with violence and intimidation, illegal detention, and criminal simulation at an inhabited residence in the district of ses Figueretes.

According to a National Police statement, the events happened in the afternoon of January 7, when the agents received a warning that a robbery with violence and intimidation at gunpoint and with a knife was taking place in a house.

When the authorities arrived on the scene, they spoke with the residents, who revealed that while they were inside, “three individuals entered by force, with their faces concealed, demanding money.” They stated that the three intruders tied them up with bridles and seized one of the house’s occupants by the neck and punched him in the face.

At one point, taking advantage of an oversight by the assailants, one of the occupants of the residence managed to flee down the building’s stairs and alerted the neighbors.
