Buy a 19th century palace is possible in Ibiza, although it is not within the reach of all pockets. The Marina district hides one of these historical jewels and it is for sale for 6,500,000 euros. It is the Orfeo Palace an architectural masterpiece that “combines timeless grandeur with modern elegance,” describes the ad.
The property has a total area of 470 meters distributed in three levels and has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. In addition, the property has a terrace overlooking Dalt Vila.
A building with history
Built at the end of the nineteenth century, the palace was designed by the prestigious architect Joan Gómez Ripoll, creator of the Gran Hotel Montesol, with a similar facade, and the Pereira Theater. The residence was originally commissioned by a minister of the Spanish Navy and later belonged to one of the island’s first bankers.
The palace was completely restored in 2017 by architect Pascal Djavadi and without losing its baroque style. Its interior blends history with a contemporary style.
Three-level layout
As we pass through its wooden gate, the house welcomes us with a majestic entrance hall with 4.8 meter high ceilingsrestored original beams and a stone railing. On the first floor there is a laundry area with guest toilet, a large study used as a first guest bedroom with en suite bathroom, open kitchen and a guest toilet a wine cellar.

The top floor has a luminous bedroom and a terrace with panoramic views of Dalt Vila and the rooftops of the Marina.

Thus, it has underfloor heating, central air conditioning, integrated sound systems, intelligent lighting and advanced security and home automation systems,” details the announcement.
The sale price may also include one or two exclusive parking spaces in a nearby building, just a few meters from the palace, as well as a selection of collectible furniture from the property.
