The three paintings by Mar Ample, an artist from Formentera, are the first to be seen when entering the exhibition hall of the City Hall that hosts the exhibition committed to sustainability ‘Els ODS dels Baleร rics’, until February 19th.
In reality, it is a selection, due to the size of the room, of the exhibition promoted by the Balearic Government’s Ministry of the Presidency, Culture and Equalityย together with the Baleร ria Foundation, which has been traveling through different cities and islands of the Community of Valencia and the Balearic Islands. 17 Mediterranean artists are participating in the exhibition, each of them, inspired by one of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and a work by Francisco Ramis which is the synthesis of all the sustainability goals. They are all part of the 2030 agenda for a better world.
The exhibition can be seen in the hall of the Old City Council
The quality of the works on display is indisputable and it is a good opportunity to take the pulse of contemporary creators of this part of the Mediterranean. Among the artists are the Ibicencan artists: Bonet Vallribera, Julia Fragua and Miguel Angel Garcia Lopez.
After two years traveling to different places, the exhibition makes its last stop in Barcelona.
