Muchachito, Ana Tijoux, Martín Bruhn and Billy Flamingos, the first names on the line-up.

One of the most beloved artists in Ibiza, Muchachito, and the Chilean singer Ana Tijoux, in addition to the DJ Martín Bruhn and the Ibiza-born Billy Flamingos, are the first names on the line-up for the Sueños de Libertad festival, which will finally be held over two days, on July 23 and 24, in the commercial dock of the port of Ibiza. Tickets go on sale today through the Wegow platform, in the absence of announcing two more names, which organizers reveal will be “powerful.”063eefc0 a222 480c 8e47 874de417a909 source aspect ratio default 0 – Diario de Ibiza News

Finally, the Regional Ministry of Health informed the organisers that by the dates of the festival, most of the current restrictions will most likely have been lifted, and therefore there will be no problems for the festival to go ahead. In fact, it is planned that, from 3 July, events with a capacity of up to 2,500 people will be able to be held in open spaces, subject to a number of requirements. The public will be able to stand, although the use of masks will be compulsory.

In principle, it will be necessary to have received at least the first dose of the vaccine, to have passed the covid test or to have a negative antigen or PCR test within the previous 72 hours. Although, in the latter case, the Balearic Health Service could facilitate the antigen test free of charge. In all cases, the covid certificate from the Balearic Islands would serve to confirm the necessary conditions for access.

“We are very happy to have artists of this level. The singer and rapper Ana Tijoux has an incredible career and, as we have done in other years, we love to look at America and bet on the mestizaje that Muchachito represents so well”

Ana Tijoux and Jairo Perera, Muchachito, will premiere the festival stage on Friday 23 July, with the silhouette of the Marina and Dalt Vila as a backdrop, as in the last edition of the festival, in 2019, and the most important thing is that the audience will be able to dance to the rhythm of the music. “We are very happy to have artists of this level. The singer and rapper Ana Tijoux has an incredible career and, as we have done in other years, we love to look to America and, we’re counting on the mestizaje that Muchachito represents so well. We’re going to have a great time at these concerts. I think we deserve it”, said Adrián Rodríguez, director of the festival, in a press release yesterday.

These performances will be joined by the dj set of Martín Bruhn, a Creole musician who has just released a new album under his own name, entitled ‘Picaflor’, and who is well known for accompanying artists such as Andrés Calamaro, Natalia Lafourcade or Depedro on drums and percussion.
