He claims that as soon as they were seated on the plane they detected a large group of passengers who started “shouting, swearing and drinking”. After they had been in the air for about 25 minutes, a few 40 people divided into two groupsthey got up from their seats and began to “wreak havoc”.
Williams adds that these people started shouting and dancing in the aisle of the aircraft despite the fact that the safety light was on, which makes it mandatory to remain seated and buckled up.
John tells the newspaper that the family was traveling to Ibiza for a weekend “to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday on July 13. Unfortunately, the outbound flight was the worst I have experienced in over 40 years of flying. My little girl was traumatized“.
This passenger claims that a stewardess on the noisy flight from Birmingham to Ibiza assured him that it was like “a fun bus”, when what was happening was that a large group of people kept shouting and drinking. “Flight attendants did nothing to stop the dangerous and disruptive behavior of these passengers,” even failing to stop serving alcohol to all of them despite the disorder on board. He adds, “I tried to warn him discreetly [al personal]i told them they were compromising safety. The stewardess said, ‘This is a funny bus.’ It was absolutely disgusting. My son was angry, my daughter was anxious. These people were throwing things into the aisle, the staff did nothing about it. It was unbelievable to see.”
