The City Council of Sant Antoni offers a new season of guided tours to promote tourism in the municipality, under the title ‘Sant Antoni & Street Art Freetour’ and with the aim of increasing cultural and family tourism in the municipality. This program has been carried out for five years.
The councilman of Tourism, Miguel Tur, recalled that the concept of ‘Free Tours’ “gives the possibility of making known the most representative tourist attractions and points of interest of Sant Antoni to our visitors.” “Since it was launched in 2020, it has registered very positive data of affluence that allow us to put in value our tourist offer and continue to promote both family and cultural tourism,” highlights Tur in a statement Tur.
After the success of previous years, the tours this season are again focused on the campaign ‘Sant Antoni & Street Art Freetour’ which is based on the heritage, culture, traditions and urban art of the municipality. In this way, through a walking route, tourists can discover, in a simple and enjoyable way, the history and identity of Sant Antoni.
The itinerary of these tours starts at sa Punta des Molรญ, walking along the promenade of the bay of Portmany to the Monument to the Discovery of America, the Egg of Colom, with several stops and points of interest. Afterwards, we go to the church of Sant Antoni, passing by the statue of ‘Es Verro’, while showing the different pieces of urban art in the area. Finally, we pass by the cultural space Molรญ d’en Simรณ and the Far de Ses Coves Blanques until we reach the Passeig de Ponent to say goodbye to the day enjoying the sunset.
