Ibiza will have a new five-star hotel by 2025

The Destination Pacha Hotel Ibiza has closed its doors to the public for the end of its 2024 season and is preparing to transform into a five-star with a new name: Destination Five Ibiza. The establishment will be the subject of a complete renovation both in its interior and exterior areas, The Pacha Group reports. “Every aspect, from the dining and entertainment facilities to the rooms, suites and villas, will be meticulously redesigned to reflect a contemporary, sophisticated and vibrant aesthetic,” the company said in a release.

One of the highlights will be the incorporation of open-air bathtubs on the terraces of the rooms to offer guests, the company justifies, an “unparalleled experience of luxury and relaxation.” In addition, state-of-the-art minibars will be installed for added comfort. The hotel will also debut an open-air gym, “an oasis of wellness surrounded by the natural beauty of Ibiza.”

“When the hotel reopens in 2025, guests will be able to enjoy a completely redefined sustainable lifestyle offering, with an elevated dining proposition, upgraded amenities, innovative programming and spaces designed to inspire unique moments of celebration, limitless dancing and pure bliss,” Pacha notes.

In tune with its “commitment to sustainability”the new hotel design “will meet the demanding LEED Platinum standards for water conservation, positioning Destino Five Ibiza as a benchmark for both luxury and ecological responsibility on the island”.

Marco Carola

One of the highlights, notes Pacha, is “the return of Marco Carola and his iconic Music On party, which will once again fill the spaces of Destination Five Ibiza with energy”. Carola, known for his “innovative approach to house and techno,” the company notes, along with his “ability to create immersive atmospheres, will bring back a stellar lineup of artists, including Black Coffee, Pawsa, BLOND:ISH, Chelina Manuhutu, Chris Stussy, Cloonee, Franky Rizardo, Gordo, Joey Daniel, Luciano, Loco Dice, Ilario Alicante, Paco Osuna and Vintage Culture.”
