The second section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands will host at 9.45 a.m. next Tuesday the preliminary hearing of the trial against D.M and K.S., accused of selling drug on the streets of Sant Antoni. The prosecutor requests the imposition of a sentence of three years and nine months in prison for each of the defendants.

The facts that are being prosecuted occurred on june 12, 2019 in the Paseo del Arenal. The Prosecutor’s Office relates in its indictment that “the accused offered narcotic substances to passers-by”. Agents of the Local Police of Sant Antoni surprised them in the possession of cocaine and ecstasyfor an amount that would have reached 254.56 euros on the black market.

In addition, the municipal policemen seized from D.M. and K.S., natives of Senegal, 30 euros in cash. The sentence adds to the prison sentence the payment of a fine of 500 euros replaceable by an additional five days’ sentence.
