Sports day to raise breast cancer awareness at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

Stronger Together' will be held this Saturday, 21 October, in aid of the IFCC association

Stronger together’ is the name of this year’s event held by Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza as part of its Pinktober initiative to raise awareness of breast cancer. This year’s event is a sports day for the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association, IFCC. The price of the donation ticket for this event, which will be held this Saturday the 21st of October from 10 am to 1:30 pm, is 10 euros per person and includes a ticket for the charity raffle that will take place once the activities are over. The money raised will go entirely to this Pitiusa association and registration can be made through the Hard Rock website and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

The psychologist, coach and personal trainer Nieves Bolós will open the day with a masterclass in which this renowned fitness influencer, specialized in nutrition and body recomposition, will guide attendees through a sports session to help people achieve their goals in a “healthy and unrestricted” way, according to the meeting’s organizers.

Then, the gym Bfit Ibiza Sports Club will offer a Total Body Conditioning session. The sports activities will come to an end after the stretching session and ‘back to calm’ that will be given by the professionals of OWN Fitness Studio, the team of personal trainers of Body Rock, gym of Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

Raffle of pink guitars

The raffle, which this year will raffle two pink Fender guitars, one acoustic and one electric, as well as a three-month voucher for the Body Rock gym, will put the finishing touch to this event. Attendees will be able to buy as many tickets as they wish during the day at one euro each.

In addition, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza’s gastronomic areas will offer will offer limited edition cocktails in pink and the special dessert, the pink cheesecake of Tatel Ibiza. The hotel also has, on this occasion, pink Balinese beds in its pools.

All the money raised will also be donated to IFCC, which for 22 years has been supporting cancer patients in Ibiza and Formentera, through the financing of treatments, medical equipment for the Hospital de Can Misses, paying for services that Social Security does not reach in the Pitiusas or designing and printing brochures and materials for the prevention of this disease.
