Intense rainfall of up to 40 litres in an hour, storms with hail and very strong gusts of wind are some of the alerts that the Aemet has activated this Tuesday, as a result of the passage of an isolated depression at high levels (DANA) over the Balearic Islands and areas of the eastern peninsular.

During the next few hours, the DANA will be located in the vicinity of the Gulf of Cadiz and will cause an increase in atmospheric instability, sespecially in the Balearic Islands with orange warning (major risk) on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, for rains that will accumulate 40 liters per square meter in one hour, in a time slot that covers from 14:00 to 24:00 peninsular time.
