María Monfort says goodbye to the year 2023 with an image of her grandfather, the Ibizan businessman Abel Matutes, on her social networks. In the post, the influencer dedicates some affectionate words to the former Spanish Foreign Minister: “He is a person who has taught me the importance of not standing still, a person who has taught me to live each of those moments in the most present way possible, an incredible person and from whom I have learned, I learn and will continue to learn the most important lessons”. He also has time to wish his followers a happy new year and to thank them for the experiences he had in 2023.

In the chosen photo, Abel Matutes is smiling, posing for his granddaughter on the beach of towering palm trees, which, according to the location indicated by his granddaughter, is Punta Cana, and wearing a backwards cap.

Monfort, who has more than 80,000 followers on Instagram, recently gained notoriety by being in a romantic relationship with the pilot of MotoGP Jorge Martínwho finished the competition in second place after having had a chance to win the title until the last race. In December, ¡Hola! magazine published a report on the content creator: “I think I don’t need to tell you how happy and excited I washowever, I didn’t want to say anything to anyone because maybe I was a little afraid of getting my hopes up and then it not going as planned,” he explained on social media.
