The first week of August will see a sharp contrast in temperatures, with a very hot first half before giving way, from Thursday onwards, to an “extraordinary and brief drop” in temperatures.
“The duration of this cool episode will last from 2 to 3 days, at most,” explained Rubén Del Campo, spokesman for the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who details that from Saturday, temperatures will begin to rise again favoring the “intense heat” in most of the country, especially in the east, center and south of the peninsula and in the Balearic Islands.
Thus, the thermometer will mark in Ibiza between 25 and 26 degrees minimum throughout the week and 32 maximum. On Friday, both the minimum and maximum temperatures will drop. The minimum will be 22 degrees and the maximum will be 29 degrees.
