The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has announced a change of weather in the Pitiusas. From Sunday 15th onwards the first precipitations of October could appear.
Both Ibiza and Formentera are located in yellow warning for heavy rainfall. The probability of rainfall is 75% for this Sunday, while during the coming week the probability of rainfall in Ibiza and Formentera is around 80%.
Temperatures will not drop too much. In the early hours of Saturday morning, the thermometers have marked 15 degrees in Sant Joan17 in the Ibiza airport area and 19 in Formentera.
Rain throughout Spain
Although this weekend the rains have already made their appearance rains in some parts of Spain, this change of weather will consolidate in the coming days. Spain will be “benefited” by the abundant rains, Del Campo said, who has clarified that until next Friday could exceed 100 liters per square meter in Galicia, environment of the western Central system, southwest of Andalusia and points of the Aragonese Pyrenees.
Between 50 and 100 liters per square meter in the center, Extremadura south of Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia, while in the extreme southeast is likely not to reach 10 or 15 liters per square meter.
Autumn temperatures

The core of the squall could be located off the coast of Portugal and the rains would affect the entire peninsular Atlantic slope. The tuesday morning, the rains will already be practically generalized throughout the country, with the squall moving northeastward.
The wednesday showers will still persist, especially in the western half and in the afternoon, also in the northeast.
Almarcha adds that for the thursday the arrival of another squall is expecteda, this one coming from higher latitudes, which would bring new rains.
