According to a report by Diario de Ibiza, the start of the tourist season during the Easter long weekend has been a success for many restaurants on the island.
The report is based on interviews with nine different restaurants, which suggest that 2023 will be a spectacular year for hospitality sector. The businesses that opened during the Easter long weekend had exceptional results, with some reporting that they were working as if it were August.
The report notes that the restaurants that cater to a high purchasing power clientele do not depend on the massive arrival of tourists that occurs in high season.
