The National Police of Ibiza have arrested a 29 year old Italian man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of drug trafficking and assault on a police officer in a house in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city of Ibiza.
A citizen security officer was alerted by the 091 room to go to a house where, according to the neighbors, a man was “shouting, breaking and throwing objects”the National Police reported in a communiqué.
Once the agents went to the scene and interviewed the neighbors, they told them that “they were afraid due to the aggressiveness of the individual.”who at the time was on the landing of the building.
When the officers proceeded to the landing, they observed the bloodied individual with a fairly deep cut and what might be something resembling a tourniquet in the groin area. The subject, upon becoming aware of the officers’ presence, threw an object at them.
“High state of aggression and excitement.”
The individual was in a “high state of aggressiveness and excitement” and disobeyed at all times the indications of the policemen, he even went so far as to assault one of the agents with a punch in the face, for which he was immobilized until the arrival of the medical services.
The agents, after observing numerous blood stains at the scene, conducted a search of the house in order to rule out that someone could be injured in the house. There was no one in the house, but the apartment was disturbed with broken glass and objects, and the police officers also found different types of narcotic substances.
Two kilos of drugs
The corresponding investigation group conducted a search of the individual’s home, in which various narcotic substances have been seized: about one kilo of ecstasy, more than one kilo of crystal meth, more than half a kilo of cocaine, about 400 grams of ketamine, about 20 grams of powdered ecstasy and more undetermined substances, as well as utensils that could be used for the preparation of the seized substances, such as two scales and a vacuum packing machine.
During the search of the house more than 7.000 euros in cash, divided into bills of 50 and 20 euros.
