The Ibiza Half Triathlon presents a competitive event with the highest level of competition

Ibiza Half Triathlon: with the historic middle distance triathlon event included in the world ranking of the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), along with the final race of the Spanish Cup of Middle and Long Distance Triathlon, Ibiza will be the epicenter of national and international triathlon this Sunday.

The Ibiza Half Triathlon has already started its countdown for the celebration of its 2022 event. The traditional Ibizan sporting event, which will take place this Sunday, October 23rd, and is included in the world ranking of the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), will start at 8:00am from the beach of Ses Figueretes on Ibiza, with a route consisting of three segments of 2 kilometers swimming, 90 kilometers cycling and 21 kilometers running.

The Ibiza Half Triathlon also hosts the contest of the final round of the Spanish Cup of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon for triathletes licensed by the Spanish Federation, an event that is organized under the direction of the Ibiza Half Triathlon Sports Association, and which was presented on Thursday at the facilities of the Hotel One Ibiza Suites.

Ibiza Half Triathlon included in the Professional Triathletes Organization’s calendar of events

The inclusion of the Ibiza Half Triathlon in the prestigious calendar of the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO) has been, according to its organizers, “the best launchpad for the event at international level”.

Thus, in addition to having the best national middle distance triathletes on the island, this year world-class triathletes such as the Australian Nick Kastelein or the German Els Visser will also be present.

At the starting line will be, among other favorites, in addition to Nick Kastelein, recently landed from his participation in the Ironman World Championship, the two-time champion from Spain, Victor Arroyo, and the former long distance world champion, the Galician Pablo Dapena.
