Policía Nacional Officers from Ibiza police station raided a cannabis club last Tuesday, July 20th, with four people being arrested in the operation. The premises, located in Ibiza town, were being used as a sales outlet for narcotic substances, according to a Policía Nacional statement.

The detainees are three Spaniards aged 21, 56 and 38 years (the latter, a woman) and a 38-year-old Italian citizen, and are accused of being the presumed perpetrators of a crime against public health. Police explained that they have already been handed over to the Court of First Instance.

According to the statement, the previous operations that culminated in this raid were begun at the end of last May by the Public Safety unit, due to the increase in reports of drug use in the area.
