The ‘Signifying’ exhibition, part of the MARE photographic contest, showcases the beauty and fragility of the Balearic Sea through 20 winning images. Curated by Amador Garcías Vich, it combines photography with a multilingual word game, encouraging personal interpretation while highlighting the importance of marine ecosystems. The exhibition runs in Ibiza until October 30, following its earlier display across the Balearic Islands. Organisers stress the need for more private funding to support such initiatives. The exhibit aims to engage both locals and visitors, using photography to raise environmental awareness. For the full article, please visit Diario de Ibiza website here.
