The legendary 41st birthday party of Freddie Mercury at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza, celebrated in 1987, remains an iconic event in rock history. This year, the ‘Freddie Rocks’ party returned to mark what would have been Mercury’s 78th birthday, raising over €10,000 for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, dedicated to AIDS research. Attendees honoured the late singer by donning his signature moustache and iconic outfits, while DJs played Queen’s greatest hits.
