The National Police of Ibiza have arrested a couple, composed of two Spanish women aged 30 and 39for an alleged crime of ill-treatment in the context of domestic violence.

According to the Ministry of the Interior in a press release, the events took place last Monday, July 15 at dawn in a hotel near the center of Ibiza. The 091 received the alert that in the room of that establishment was taking place a violent fight between the two women.

National Police officers went to the scene. Apparently, the two women involved acknowledged that they had been drinking alcohol and that after an argument, motivated by a relationship problem, they ended up assaulting each other.

The police officers arrested both women and the UFAM (Family and Women’s Care Unit) has taken charge of the investigation, placing the detainees at the disposal of the Court of Instruction.
