This morning the mayor of Sant Antoni de Portmany, Marcos Serra, and the first deputy mayor, Neus Mateu, received an English tourist couple who have been holidaying in Ibiza since 1968, according to a press release from the Sant Antoni Town Hall.
The couple Hazel and Roger Tebbutt, aged 81 and 75, are originally from Leeds (UK) and usually visit the municipality twice a year. The City Council has given them a figure of peasants and a bouquet of flowers in recognition of their loyalty to the municipality of Sant Antoni.
Mayor Marcos Serra thanked them for choosing Sant Antoni as their vacation destination for decades and recalled that their confidence in the municipality “is the best tourism promotion for Sant Antoni”.
