A magnificent spectacle was witnessed by some kayakers last Friday, August 15th in Portinatx: at 8.39 pm, when the sun was setting, they were surprised by three dolphins. “It was beautiful”, highlights Marisol Brisa, a Brazilian resident in Ibiza for two years, to Diario de Ibiza.
“The guide said he had never seen the dolphins in Portinatx and for most of us it was the first time we saw dolphins, even more so in front of a sunset”, she says. “It was amazing”, she recalls.
It is not the first time that dolphins are sighted on the coast of the Pitiusas, two months ago a group of swimmers were also surprised by them. Not only these species can be seen, whales have also been sighted, although this is not common.
