The woman 45-year-old British woman who self-injured herself with a pair of scissors at Ibiza airport after buying them at the pharmacy will be transferred to the ward this week, according to doctors’ forecasts if there are no setbacks.
The patient continues, almost ten days after self-knifing, admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A spokesman for the Pitiusa Health Area reports that the woman is progressing favorably and that, if she continues at this rate of recovery, she will be in a critical condition, will be discharged from the ICU and will be transferred to the ward.

The events occurred last Sunday, June 23 when the British woman was at the airport and after acquiring the scissors at the pharmacy and taking them out of their packaging, she began to self-injure her neck.
When the health services arrived, they gave her the first attentions and transferred her to the Can Misses Hospital.
