The nightlife area of Formentera was the scene of a spectacular fight during the early hours of Sunday to Monday that involved a dozen people.
As can be seen in the video, the brawl occurred outside a bar on Miramar Avenue, in the area of es Pujols, where the island’s nightlife is concentrated during the low season.
Despite the spectacular nature of the images, the Consell de Formentera wanted to play down the importance of the incident, assuring that it was “just a fight” one of those that can happen “everywhere where there are people partying and drinking alcohol”.
“Both the Local Police and the Civil Guard are on patrol at night and are regularly passing through this entertainment area, but this fight occurred just at a time when there were no security forces there“, they assure from the institution to Diario de Ibiza.
The Local Police has no evidence that there is complaints or arrests related to this fight.
