Seasonal rentals in Ibiza: bed for 550 euros in a room with bunk beds

Finding a place to sleep in Ibiza becomes more complicated with the arrival of the season. There are many people who already have a job on the island, but still do not have housing.

In the social media groups created to offer and find an apartment, hundreds of messages are published every day, many of them advertisements for room sharing.

The prices that are generally asked for living with one, two or three people for a whole season and without any kind of privacy, could be used to pay for an apartment for a single person in some parts of the Peninsula.

Price per bed, two bunk beds: 2.200 euros

One of the ads posted this Tuesday in a Telegram group offer beds for 550 euros in a room with two bunk beds and to share with three other people. That is, the owner pockets 2,200 euros per month for a single room in which those who choose to rent will have to live with few amenities and no privacy.

The lessor gives the option to rent the beds for the whole year. In addition, he emphasizes that he does not ask for a deposit.

Sharing a roof has become commonplace on the island and there are many who take advantage of the lack of housing to offer this type of accommodation. Another ad published in the same group offers sharing a room in a caravan. The owner does not provide the price, although he assures that the vehicle has all the amenities and is in a private parking lot.
