A seafaring journey leading to the Middle Ages

The Passeig de la Mar in Sant Antoni came alive at 5.30 p.m. with the XII Medieval Seafood Fair. 120 diverse stalls, extending to Passeig de ses Fonts, offered everything from food and crafts to jewelry.

The fair returned to its original venue this year, pleasing long-time attendees. New vendor Consuelo Rodríguez sold orgonites, while seasoned esparter José Miguel Moreno showcased his passion for esparto grass crafts. Amulet seller Isbet Camacho and air freshener artisan Miguel Mancebo interacted with curious patrons. The fair was also a gastronomic hub, with Eduardo Rivas’s candied fruits standing out. Live performances from bands like Treefolk added to the atmosphere.

Locals, including Marta Peñalver and Cristofer Pulido, enjoyed the fair’s offerings and ambiance, with many favoring its current location.
