Santa Eulària plans to hire 22 new employees by 2026

The Santa Eulària City Council has presented its budget for 2026, amounting to 62.5 million euros — an increase of almost 2.5% compared to this year’s figure. According to mayor Carmen Ferrer, “these budgets consolidate our 2023–2027 programme, focused on four key areas: mobility, work-life balance, care for our elderly, and housing”.

Looking ahead to next year, “a significant portion” of the municipal budget will go towards expanding the workforce. Specifically, 29% of the total budget (18,258,806 euros) will be dedicated to strengthening public employees’ career progression and hiring 22 new staff members across various departments.

The council aims to recruit nine local police officers, one architect, one social educator, two social workers, a cleaning coordinator, three technicians (in environment, general administration and human resources), and five administrative assistants.
