The smell of gunpowder is almost present in Sant Antoni a few days before the beginning of the Fallas of 2025, which celebrate its 26th anniversary between Friday and Sunday of this week from April 4 to 6, with a program full of festive and emotional events, led by its Fallera Mayor, Carola Velez.
During three intense days the area of ses Variades will once again be the center of the festival of the Valencian community of Ibiza, with activities for all audiences: from the traditional plantà, the mascletà, the parades and the offering to the Mare de Déu dels Desamparats, musical performances, and of course, the cremà that will close the festivities on Sunday night.
Thus, the Fallas 2025 begin on Friday at 5 pm with the plantà of the falla infantil and falla grande, a dinner offered by the falleras mayores and, from 9 pm, party with a dj and the Xaranga.
On Saturday the fallera day will begin at 10 am with the concentration in the tent and the parade to pick up the falleras mayores. The fallera mayor is Carola Vélez; the fallera mayor infantil, Lucía Castillo; the president Raúl Márquez, and the president infantil Carlos Pellicer. The first mascletà will take place on Saturday at 2.30 pm, followed by a lunch for all falleros. From 17.00 pm there will be an evening with DJ Kevin and the Xaranga, at 18.30 pm concert of Los del Varadero, at 21.30 pm more music with Gran Reserva, to finish with a party in style with DJ Kevin and the Xaranga.
The ‘cremà
On Sunday the concentration is scheduled at 11.30 a.m., followed by the ‘cremà'[] traditional offering to the Mare de Déu dels Desamparats in the parish of Sant Antoniat 2.30 p.m. the second mascletà before recovering strength with the popular paella. The little ones will be the protagonists of the afternoon with games from 4.30 pm, before the final cremà of the monuments falleros. The children will burn at 9 p.m. and the big one from 10 p.m. to put the finishing touch to the festive days.
