This road in Ibiza will be closed to traffic for 2 weeks due to construction works

The Department of Road Infrastructures of the Consell de Ibiza has announced a total road closure affecting the first section of the Jesús bypass, as part of the rehabilitation works on the road surface of the Jesús–Santa Eulària EI-100 lane. These works have been underway since 16 October and have a planned duration of six months.

From Monday, 24 November, the intervention will affect the stretch between the start of the road and Gavina Street. To carry out these improvements, this section will need to be completely closed to traffic for approximately two weeks, until 7 December.

During this period, the road will remain closed day and night. Only residents and local businesses will be allowed access, regulated by on-site personnel positioned at both ends of the affected section. These operators will be available 24 hours a day to facilitate entry and exit for residents and commercial activity at any time.

Other drivers needing to access the centre of Jesús must do so via the new bypass, the alternative route enabled for the duration of the works. The Consell de Ibiza has stated that the public will be promptly informed of the progress of the works and any additional measures required for their correct development. They also thank citizens for their understanding and cooperation, and apologise for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure.
