A fire broke out early this morning on a private estate of around 4,000 square metres next to a forested area with a house located in Camí sa Font des Murtar, in Sant Carles, in the municipality of Santa Eulària. The incident took place at around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to reports from the Ibiza Island Fire Station.
A total of six firefighters, one heavy rural fire engine and one firefighter tender were on the scene and managed to extinguish the fire by 7:30 am.
One van involved
The fire did not affect the house and the wooded area and only burned a van that was parked there, as well as machinery, gardening tools and other belongings, according to the Fire Department.
