The various Christmas programs across the different municipalities began last week and for the next few days of this weekend, the Christmas activities take over the calendar, with markets, shows, children’s parties, storytelling and theater. In addition, Sant Josep, will have its tradtional Christmas lights switch-on this weekend, giving way to the festive programming.
And among the Christmas agendas, the OBK concert on Saturday in the Passeig de ses Fonts de Sant Antoni is a highlight.
Festivities are also in full swing in Forada, but in this case they are for the patron saints. This Friday, the town of Sant Antoni celebrates the day of its patron saint, the Immaculate Conception, and will do so with traditional events, but also with an afternoon of chocolate for the little ones, theater and a concert in the marquee of the Social Center.
There will also be loads of theater over the weekend, with works by different companies from Eivissa. Vaporustedes celebrates its 20th anniversary with two performances of a play created for the occasion, ‘Vaporustedes 20.0’, on Friday in the auditorium of Cas Serres and Sunday in the auditorium of Can Jeroni. Also the Grup de Teatre des Cubells, with ‘Matrimoni per medecina’, on Thursday in Forada and Saturday in Formentera.
Completing the list are AAVV Es Molí, with ‘Èpoques’ this Thursday in Can Ventosa, and ‘Ocho mujeres’, by the Companyia de Teatre Arts i Oficis, on Sunday in the parish center of sa Cala.
In addition, this weekend Sant Mateu revives its traditional Festa des Vi Pagès on Saturday, celebrating its 30th edition.
