Netflix has announced that it will screen the film ‘Avicii-I’m Tim’ and the last performance on August 28, 2016 of the Swedish DJ at Ushuaïa Ibiza on its platform on December 31, 2024.
The documentary on Tim Bergling, Avicii, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival held in June this year in New York. The film depicts the success Avicii experienced from the release of his single, ‘Bromance’, to his tragic suicide. The film uncovers the genius through exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage.
Avicii took his own life in 2018 after retiring in 2016 from the stage. Born in Stockholm on September 8, 1989, he was the author of international hits such as ‘Hey Brother’, ‘Levels’, ‘Wake Me Up’ or ‘Addicted to You’.
Tim Bergling also managed in 2010 to position himself in the list of the 100 best DJs in the world, published by the specialized magazine DJmag. Despite his tragic and premature end, his music and legacy remain.
