Music, gastronomy, commitment to the environment. The SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia festival kicked off last Friday with all kinds of activities, but above all with lots of good music. The Sant Ferran square, with its magnificent church in the background, was filled to enjoy the performances (admission was free) of the groups Baiuca and Roosevelt. This ‘Chapter Zero: Roots’ of the event, as the organization wanted to call it although it has already been eight editions in Formentera, remains nonconformist and original and also promotes sustainable tourism. That is why they seek zero footprint and promote all kinds of activities. In addition to three other concerts (2ManyDjs, Tulsa and Júlia Colom), yesterday were planned several ‘environmental discovery routes’ organized in different corners of the island.
