Las Dalias, one of the most emblematic places in Ibiza, is commemorating its 70th anniversary with a summer program full of live music. This iconic space in Sant Carles has been a cultural mainstay since its opening on november 4, 1954thanks to its constant offer of music and art. History of Las Dalias
Founded by the carpenter Joan Marílas Dalias began as a simple roadhouse with a dance hall. In its early years, it was a meeting place for locals and visitors offering a space where music and dancing were combined in a cozy atmosphere.

Over time, it became a cultural center which hosted a variety of events, from concerts to craft markets.
In the 1960sduring the hippie era, Las Dalias became an important haven for artisans and musicians and evolved into the famous flea market it is known as today. Specifically, it became known as market officially in 1985 and quickly became one of Ibiza’s most popular attractions.
Today, it has more than 300 positions offering a wide range of products, from fashion and jewelry to a variety of local products. The diversity of products reflects the fusion of cultures and creativity that characterizes Las Dalias.

Summer of concerts
This summer, Las Dalias reaffirms its commitment to live music and is offering a series of free concerts from July through September. Featured artists include Andres Coll with his project Dakar Coffee, Howard Glissford, Neorama, Shakatribe and the band Wealthy Hippies Clanled by Norberto Rodríguez & Iggy Torres. These concerts provide entertainment for spectators and a platform for local artists to showcase their talent and connect with the community.
The Liberarte event, which takes place on july 22is another not-to-be-missed event. The market will bring together sculptors, painters and urban artists to fill every corner with creativity and inspiration. Liberarte is a clear example of how Las Dalias supports and celebrates local arts, offering a space for artistic expression in all its forms.

Hippie market and gastronomy
In the hippy market of Las Dalias, visitors can find handmade products, local designer clothes, handmade jewelry and much more. But there is also a varied gastronomic offer, with restaurants and fast food stalls offering everything from pizza and salads to paella and tacos.
One of the most outstanding gastronomic attractions is the Arabian tent, which offers a selection of teas and delicious Moroccan pastries.

Las Dalias opens every Saturday of the year and, in the hottest months, also on the sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. These night markets, with their relaxed atmosphere and live concerts, provide a unique experience for visitors.

Las Dalias’ programming includes a variety of events that go beyond the market, such as theme parties and dj performances at the Akasha club, opened in 2021.
Las Dalias has been expanding and adapting to cultural and social changes over seven decades. The inauguration of the Akasha club has added a new space for musical events which provides an intimate atmosphere for artists and music lovers. This club has rapidly gained popularity and has become a key meeting point in Ibiza’s nightlife.
