The Vara de Rey promenade in Vila will host this Sunday from 10 p.m. a concert by the Big Band Ciutat d’Eivissa, under the direction of Vicent Tur and with the participation of the guest soloist Matteo Crocetti.
It is from free admission and will perform a varied repertoire ranging from jazz standards such as ‘Nature Boy’ or ‘Sunday Kind of Love’ to pop, rock and funk songs, such as ‘It’s Oh so quiet’, by Bjork, or ‘Space Cowboy’, by Jamiroquai.

The guitarist and singer Mateo Crocetti originally from Piedmont (Italy), has been an active part of the musical life of Ibiza for years. With a direct style, close and full of energy, he has earned the respect of the public and local musicians.
After studying guitar in Madrid, he landed on the island, where he has collaborated with various groups and projects. He has been a fixture for many years at the Teatro Pereyra, and can now often be seen at venues such as Can Jordi, Coyote, Es Pins y Punt or Teatro Ibiza, among others. Crocetti is part of the band Soul Doctor, known for its powerful live performances of funk, soul and rock, and also leads a project in an intimate format with pianist Bart Sunshine, where they play ballads and classics in acoustic.
In addition to playing, he also gives guitar lessons and collaborates in musical initiatives such as the Great River Road Cultural Association, which promotes African-American music on the island.
