The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts rain for the rest of the week in Ibiza and Formentera, although for the moment there is no rain no alert activated, in spite of the DANA that is lashing the Peninsula these days. The DANA is somewhat stationary and located south of the Peninsula, but could approach towards the Balearic archipelago with the passage of the days and leave heavy rains of short duration.
Thus, rainfall will begin this Thursday from 6 am with an 80 percent chance of rain until noon, when it will subside until 18 hours when it is possible that some showers occur.
On Friday rains are expected with an 80 percent probability. On Saturday and Sunday the probability of rainfall is 100 and 95 percent, respectively.
The temperatures will be maintained between a low of 18 degrees and a high of 23 degrees on Thursday. As the weekend approaches, lows will drop to 15 degrees. Highs will hold steady.
