Generation Z’ and ‘millennials’ have a special preference for Ibiza when it comes to choosing a holiday destination, according to an analysis by the airline Vueling.
Regarding the ‘Z’ (those young people born more or less between the late nineties and 2010), their favorite community to spend their vacations this summer is the Balearic Islands. As for the ‘millennials’, it is also their favorite archipelago, especially Ibiza, but also destinations in Andalusia such as Seville or Malaga.
Older tourists, on the other hand, choose the Canary Islands and European capitals as destinations, according to an analysis by Vueling.
Most popular destinations
Barcelona and Bilbao remain as Vueling’s most popular destinations all year round but Balearic Islands is the favorite in July and August in the ranking of most demanded, reports the airline.
Other Spanish destinations highlighted this season are Andalusia and the Canary Islands, while abroad the most popular are Paris and London.
‘Generation X’ also contemplates the Canary Islands as one of their favorite destinations, with Tenerife as a standout island. Regarding the boomers, maintain their commitment to the Canary Islands and introduce international destinations such as London. The older generations are also the ones who choose international tourist cities.
