The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated for this Thursday the yellow alert for heavy rains in Ibiza and Formentera. According to meteorologists, it is expected to fall in the Pitiusas up to 30 liters per square meter in one hour. The accumulated in twelve hours could reach 70 liters per square meter.
The warning will begin at 00 hours tonight and will remain active until 13.59 hours.
Temperatures will remain stable, with minimums of 14 degrees and maximums that will not exceed 23.
The rain has begun to fall on the Pitiusas this Wednesday morning and the forecast is that the sky will start to clear from Friday onwards.
On the weekend the thermometers will also rise slightly to reach 25 maximum and 16 minimum.
