The young woman injured in the accident that took place last Wednesday in the platges de Comte road who is hospitalized at the Clínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario continues to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). According to the latest medical report, on Thursday, the patient, 17 years old, “has suffered a worsening of neurological symptoms and her condition is very serious”.
The third patient injured in the accident in which a girl died, was admitted to the ICU with polytrauma and severe head trauma. As reported by the clinic, she was initially in induced coma and on assisted ventilation.
On the other hand, the two injured persons admitted to Can Misses were discharged from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Wednesday. As reported from the Health Area of Ibiza and Formentera (Asef), the boys, aged 18 and 20 years and residents of Ibiza, have gone to plant “given its favorable evolution”. Both were admitted to the hospital with severe polytrauma.
The traffic accident took place on the Platges de Comte road past the Cala Bassa turnoff, in the vicinity of the Stop bar. In the car, a Mini, were four young people, two boys and two girls, aged between 17 and 26 years. For reasons unknown, the vehicle went off the road, rolled over several times and ended up crashing into a tree.
According to this newspaper, the two boys were in the front seats while the girls, who were sisters, were in the back of the vehicle.
