The famous British actor Idris Elba (well known for his work in ‘Luther’, ‘The Suicide Squad’, ‘Molly’s Game’…) also stands out for his facet as a DJ and music producer. In Ibiza he has played in several discos and the island is a place where he travels to on many occasions, either to work or to rest.
Last weekend he was DJing in a private party in a luxury villa in Ibiza. The reason, the presentation of a new vodka, which after the event in the villa moved to a VIP area of a club on the island.
The exclusive party also included sessions by Ibizan resident DJ Doorly, King Crowney of Rudimental and DJ Aniurks.
The vodka that was presented in society in Ibiza is Grey Goose Altius, made with water from a natural well located in the French Alps.
Idris Elba in Ibiza
Idris Elba started DJing in clubs on the island in 2018 (Lío Ibiza), and in the summer of 2022, he made the leap to Hï, sharing the bill, but not space, with David Guetta at the Future Rave party.
The actor already had a residency at Hï Ibiza in 2019, but his passion for music will be dates back to his youth and his work in front of the cameras. In the 90’s he already started playing music in alternative circuits in London, and little by little he has been professionalizing until he has been playing in the most important stages of the music world, such as Glastonbury.
This 2024 Idris Elba will be playing at Ushuaïa Ibiza, in his Defected party.
