The DJ rewriting Ibiza’s rules with a double club residency

Calvin Harris will be the first artist to have a double residency at the same club, during a single season, due to the high demand generated by his performances at Ushuaïa Ibizaas announced by the fourth best club in the worldof Dj Mag’s Top 100.

The producer, dj and composer grammy Award-winning will take control of the tuesdays and Fridays with 25 shows designed to offer an exclusive and unprecedented residency. He will perform on Tuesdays from July 1 through August 26 and Fridays from May 30 through September 12.

“There is no other artist like Calvin Harris. For years, one of the most sought after in the world, dominating the global charts with anthems that have shaped the sound of dance music today, collaborating with superstars like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd and many more. With more than 56 billion plays and numerous awards throughout his career, his influence goes far beyond the dance floor,” Ushuaïa Ibiza explained in a statement.

Calvin Harris’ return to Ushuaïa Ibiza marks a milestone in his career, becoming the first artist in history to have two residencies at the same club during a single season.

Fridays will remain one of the most coveted nights on the island, while Tuesdays will usher in a new era with an innovative concept that takes production, sound and show to the next level.

Ushuaïa Dubai

After his exclusive performance at the grand opening of Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience last October, Harris returns to Ushuaïa Ibiza’s open air stage to offer his fans a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the most influential djs of all time in an environment designed for absolute musical evasion.

“This has never been done before, and I’m thrilled to be the first artist to have a double residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza. None of this would be possible without the incredible fans who have been with me every step of the way. In an interview given to the Kiss Breakfast program, the dj stated that two frustrated projects with two well-known artists pushed him to dedicate more time to his activities in contact with nature. “When those two songs dropped I thought ‘maybe it’s time for me to do some gardening and maybe those weren’t the right songs for me to put out at the time,'” Harris said.

This is also where he proposed to his wife, the BBC Radio 1 radio presenter Vick Hope, with whom he had a secret relationship for several months before marrying in September 2023 in Northumberland (United Kingdom).
